My Story

              I am so excited to embark on a new journey here in the Greater Jackson Area of creating a Hip Hop/Majorette Dance Team. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and what inspired me to put this opportunity together.

              My name is Ariana Hughes. I am married with 3 amazing boys. I love to dance and have experience in many genres and styles of dance. From 6 months of age I have been dancing. In elementary I took PAGE dance classes at Albion College. In my teen years I joined 4-H Leadership Academy in Albion MI where we learned and executed the 7 pillars of Character. We formed a competitive hip-hop dance group “Xtreme” outside of the Leadership Academy. The group put together Talent Shows, Fashion Shows, marched in parades, performed during halftime shows, pep rally’s, and etc. Most importantly we did community service projects to help our community and surrounding areas.

              I was inspired to start up a dance group here in Jackson because I saw a need for the Art of Dance in our community. DollFace Legend promotes high self-esteem, determination, persistence, high-academic achievement, community involvement and the importance of health. DollFace Legend main focus is to provide an outlet of well monitored and well-rounded activities such as dance and group membership in a fun and family friendly environment. My goal is to provide excellent service to the dancers and parents as well as a fun learning environment. I am very excited to work with your Doll/Legend.
